CSP's Digital Transformation

Each CSPs digital transformation path is unique and is often influenced by factors such as competition, business priorities, existing support infrastructure, and operating regions. Achieving digital transformation ambitions is no easy task: CSPs must remove and rebuild their current legacy solutions and then make significant changes to them (the BSS stack) to make it happen.

CSPs rely on their operational partners to help them with network security, artificial intelligence/machine learning, data management, and cloud architectures. For years, CSPs have focused on creating customized solutions to differentiate their products and services. Now they are investing heavily in the transformation to deliver an exceptional customer experience. CSPs are increasingly moving from a system-centric to an interaction-centric model to transform the digital experience of customers. Regardless of the path chosen, the digital transformation of the experience will be a common trend among CSPs as customer touchpoints evolve in response to changing customer expectations.

If successful, CSPs will enable a customer-centric experience through multi-channel customer touchpoints and front-end systems.

The beauty of digital transformation is that it benefits both parties, including customers and CSPs. It combines technology and cultural change to make companies not only more agile but more agile and innovative. Ultimately, digital transformation comes from the need to meet increasingly demanding customer needs, improve customer experience, and simplify business operations by using every opportunity to reduce friction to speed service setup, delivery, and monetization

With digital transformation, operators can increase business agility to quickly adapt to market demands, innovate to improve network efficiency and maximize profits from 5G, cloud, and edge technologies.

There is no miracle solution for converting CSP to DSP (Digital Service Provider), to make the most of the opportunities offered by these new technologies, CSP needs to be transformed into a DSP.
